Migrant Women Press is proud to launch Amplifying Her Story, a new interview series celebrating the women behind the stories published on our platform.
At Migrant Women Press, we believe every woman deserves the opportunity to tell her own story, in her own words. Through Amplifying Her Story, we invite our writers to share not only the issues they report on, but also their personal journeys, the experiences that shaped them, and the work they are doing to create change in their communities.
We are delighted to launch the series with Chylian Ify Azuh, an anti-trafficking advocate and founder of PATA Foundation, whose work supports returned migrants and survivors of human trafficking.
In this thoughtful conversation, Chylian reflects on her journey, the inspiration behind her advocacy, and the importance of creating spaces where women can tell their own stories. She also discusses the experiences that led her to write for Migrant Women Press and why raising awareness of human trafficking and survivor-led solutions remains so important.
More than an interview, Amplifying Her Story is a space for honest conversations with the migrant and racialised women whose journalism enriches our platform.
